Basaikou Jabang (Saikou) is a Systems Engineer, HP Enterprise Contractor at The Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC). Basaikou attended Gardner Webb University, NC from 1993 to 1997 where he graduated with Bachelor of Science degree in Management Information Systems. He worked for CDC Information Technology Office as an IT specialist from 1998 to present. He served as Vise Chairman of Atlanta Gambian Emergence Relief Association (AGERA) a 501(c) (3) Non-Profit organization from 2005 to 2011. He is the current Chairman of the Sponsorship Committee for AGERA

Dr. Mobin Shah (Vice President),

Dr. Mobin Shah is an internist and family physician . He has been practicing physician for the last 11 years and recently he is with Piedmont Henry hospital as a hospitalist. He received his Medical degree from Ambedkar Medical College , Bangalore, India. He is board certified in Internal medicine , family medicine and hospice and palliative care. He has served in editorial board of Society general of Internal medicine forum and also has served as a physician for South Asian federation games. . He has been serving on multiple committees at Piedmont Henry Hospital including Quality assurance and patient safety Committee.

Dr. Amanda Phillips (Treasurer),

Dr. Amanda Phillips is an obstetrician and gynecologist with Eagle’s Landing Ob/GYN. She has been a practicing physician for the last 13 years. She received her Bachelor of Science degree from Emory University and her Medical degree from the University of South Carolina. She is board certified with ABOG and a Fellow in the American College of Obstetricians and Gynecologist. She most recently has served as the chair of the department, Obstetrics and Gynecology at Piedmont Henry Hospital for 2.5 years. She has served on multiple committees at Piedmont Henry Hospital including infection control, ad hoc committee, Quality assurance, and the medical executive committee. She owns and operates a real estate investment company for the last 8 years. She is a mentor to high school students and college students at Emory University. She regularly volunteers in the community and is involved in philanthropy work.

Ahmed Eltentawy (Treasurer),

I am 39 years old, married and have a BA in accounting. After graduating University, I worked as an account for Hilton hotels for approximately 10 years, my last position was the assistant director of finance. I currently have my own business in a food franchise restaurant as well as having real estate investments. I employ 15 members of staff and oversee and manage the daily operations and finances of the business.

Debbie (“Kareema”)  Pippin (Secretary),

Was born February, 1953 in Carnesville,  Ga. She grew up in College Park. She graduated from Lakeshore High School in College Park and went on to a women’s college in Forsyth, Ga, where she met her husband.  They were married for 16 years and had one son. They moved to Henry County in 1984 where her son began attending first grade in McDonough Primary School. In 1985, she went to work for NEC Home Electronics.  During her time at NEC (name later changed to Elesys), she worked her way up with the company to Strategic Planning Manager and prepared the company’s budget and long-term plan until the time of her retirement in 2017.

Zakariya Al Sharif (Secretary),

I am 43 years old, married with 4 children. After finishing high school I started working with furniture companies, making metal furniture up until 1994 with my family. I graduated with a Polytechnics degree specializing in Metal Works and Welding. I am a Certified in Welding and Fabrication from North London College University (Hunslow). I immigrated to the USA 5 years ago after living in London, England for nearly 20 years. I studied in London, and worked with a food company providing readymade food for airports and large supermarkets. Within 7 months of working at DD’s Kosher I was offered the managerial position, which I accepted. I had over 65 people working under me. In 2005 we opened our own Chiropractic Clinic with my wife in North London, to this day I still manage our UK based clinic and our properties. After living for 2 years in Georgia, we opened our own Chiropractic Clinic in Henry County, which I also currently manage.
